The book of Psalms is unique in all of scripture in that it’s made up of human words directed toward God that God divinely returned as divine messages to humankind. It is a collection of various types of poems that express the entire range of human emotion; from joy to devastating sorry, from shouting rage to peaceful acceptance; transparently and vividly. From this book, we can learn untold numbers of lessons about God, about humanity, about creation and about relations between all of these.
