Oct 25, 2015: Christival, Wk 4

“Christival: A Celebration of Faith and the Arts” is an annual Trinity Baptist tradition during the month of October.  Sunday morning worship services focus on the creative arts, and feature music, guest speakers, storytelling, dramatists, and other avenues of celebration that incorporate the gifts of Trinity churchgoers and of believers in the greater community.

The fourth week consisted of Children and Youth Sunday, with a theme interpretation by Pomelia Wasdin and homily by Jackson Thomas.  Recording artist, singer songwriter, Bailey Bala led the special music and worship.  Several youth wrote original psalms to be read for the service.

Theme interpretation by Pomelia Wasdin

Worship: “10,000 Reasons,” led by Bailey Bala

Anthem by Bailey Bala: “Holding on to Hope”

Homily by Jackson Thomas: “His Majesty’s Palette,” based on Isaiah 64 and Jeremiah 18

Original Psalms read by Matt Cook and Sydney Parker
