November 18 – Petitioning God for Daily Needs; Matthew 6:11-13

Cy Lynch, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, concludes his series on “Transformational Prayer, reflecting on the last half of the Lord”s Prayer. There we learn that after praising and recognizing God (v. 9) and interceding for God’s priorities in the world (v. 10), we can confidently approach God as loving Father concerning our personal needs and concerns. He concludes by explaining the importance of the Prayer and how the early church understood the power of the Prayer and supplemented it with the closing doxology, “For Thine is the Kingdom . . . .
